David Rankin Photography

David  started in photography working for local newspapers. David has many photographed bands live in concert  , including U2 , the Spice Girls, Elton John , Rod Stewart and many more.

During his career David has supplied pictures to a wide range of magazines and newspapers including the Independent , the Record , Glasgow Herald, NME , Pop Factory and Smash Hits  . The Scotsman newspaper recently published one of David’s pictures of Lallybroch – Midhope Castle . David also offers private photo tours of Scotland.

David is an experienced tour guide based in Falkirk .

• David has a keen interest in the castles of Scotland . 20 years ago he set up a website Castle pictures  dedicated to supplying information and guides to visiting Scottish castles , profusely illustrated by how own pictures
• David is fascinated by Scottish history , going back to the time of William Wallace ( Braveheart ) and Robert the Bruce
• Your driver / guide David has over 20 years experience in travel and editorial photography and has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in the UK and the USA  . The Scotsman newspaper recently published one of David’s pictures of Lallybroch – Midhope Castle .
